Carbon Steel Bar Grating is a constructed panel of metal that is commonly used in industrial sites and commercial buildings due to its strength and durability. It has many uses from platforms, walkways, safety barriers, drainage covers to architectural designs and much more. It's design promotes safety and practicality, allowing for easy circulation of water, light, air, and heat. It also has low maintenance and is completely recyclable. Golden State Grating can virtually fabricate grating to fit any area and application.

Carbon Steel Grating typically comes welded which is formed by electro-forging equally spaced bearing bars and cross bars at their point of contact to form a solid union. Depending on your project, the grating can come in a plain or serrated surface. After fabrication the material can be Galvanized, Painted, or left as is, Mill Finish.

Standard sizes for Carbon Steel Grating are available with cross bar spacing at 2" or 4" on center and bearing bar spacing ranging from 19/16" to 7/16" on center.
